Made You Look!

The marketing world knows how to “make us look” alerting us to a special sale or event.

Schools put in a lot of hard work and money into a family engagment event. Shouldn’t we consider all the ways we can remind them of the upcoming event?

We all probably use the typical reminder flyer, phone message, and note on our newsletters.

Take a look at how other special events are promoted and encourage attendance.

Weddings – Send a “Save the Date” long before the event so families can plan ahead.

School Picture Day – Print stickers for students to wear or put on their homework folders the day before the event as reminders that aren’t easily lost or ignored.

Special Sales – Have someone dress up as your school mascot and hold an informational sign at car riders. Or, enlist some of your older students to dance and twirl reminders.
